The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Lead Economist to join our Financial & Markets Surveillance team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the stability and resilience of Singapore's financial system. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting economic research, analyzing financial markets, and providing strategic insights to support MAS's regulatory and supervisory functions.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Conduct economic research and analysis to inform MAS's regulatory and supervisory decisions.,Monitor and analyze financial markets to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.,Develop and implement economic models and frameworks to assess the impact of economic and financial developments.,Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on economic and financial issues.,Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance MAS's understanding of economic and financial developments.,Stay abreast of global economic trends and developments to inform MAS's policy responses.,Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.,Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.,Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.,Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in economic research, financial analysis, or a related field.,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.,Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.,Experience with economic modeling and data analysis tools is a plus.,Knowledge of financial regulations and supervisory frameworks is desirable.
